Our Appreciation for Joel Harris

Happy Retirement

Written by Andrew Sedler, COO

Burbank Dental Lab is the sum of all of the people it employs. Our goal has always been to hire only the best to help push our organization to be among the top dental laboratories in the country.

Personal Qualities

One such employee, who has been with our company for 14 years, is Joel Harris, Senior Technical Advisor for our West Coast Concierge Team. Joel has recently decided to take on a new chapter in his life and will be retiring on March 15th, 2021.

Lessons for Us

We are grateful for Joel’s hard work and dedication in serving our clients all these years and for doing his part in helping our organization fulfill its pursuit of excellence.

He will be missed.

The Future

We have put a transition team in place to help make this change in our company a seamless one.  Our technical support staff are trained in every aspect of case management and have extensive experience in helping your cases from start to finish. Please know that your points of contact for technical assistance are:

  • Craig Hunt - Craig has been in the dental industry for 47 years. He began his journey working in a laboratory in Kansas, receiving his first hands-on training. Craig’s natural talents led him to open a small laboratory focused on crown and bridge restorations for prosthodontics. Craig's vast industry knowledge, attention to detail, and kind demeanor led Burbank Dental Lab to recruit him and place him in the vital role of Quality Control Manager. He has held this position for the last 15 years.
  • Pedro Tamayo - Pedro started his dental lab career at Burbank Dental Lab.  His first role, in 2009, was as the removable departments’ technical advisor and assistant manager. His excellent service and rapport with Burbank’s doctors lead him to be promoted to Technical Advisor to the concierge team. Pedro has been with Burbank Dental Lab for 12 years.
  • Kenny Matsuda - Kenny started his dental career 15 years ago, where he worked at a high-end dental lab. Since coming to Burbank Dental Lab, he has quickly learned the values and care that we provide to doctors and has made sure to implement these ideals in his work each day. Kenny works as tech support for the crown and bridge department at Burbank Dental Lab and has been doing this for 2 years.

Not only is the technical support concierge team one of the most highly trained in the industry, but Burbank Dental Lab has systems in place to ensure that the technical details of individual cases are readily available.

The Best Is Yet To Come

As we wish Joel Harris well in his future endeavors, we want you to know we appreciate your business, and we are excited about working with you on future cases.
