Burbank Dental Laboratory offers a full range of ceramic veneer solutions for your practice. We have evaluated feedback from our clients and have responded with a bespoke result by mastering the art and science behind the 'veneer'. Classic Feldspathic Porcelain Veneers are done either by using the foil technique or refractory model, and Pressable E.MAX is also an option, providing ideal esthetic effects.

Press & Layered Veneers

Press and Layered veneers are fabricated with e.max® layered and/or pressed veneers, carefully crafted by Burbank Dental Lab Smiles By Design Team of ceramists. Layering accommodates strategic block-out and ideal esthetic effects with net thickness as thin as 0.7 mm.

Classic Feldspathic Porcelain Veneers

This is the classic veneer handcrafted layer by layer by our Smiles By Design Team. Feldspathic veneers are an excellent choice for cases where you need strategic block out of underlying color while maintaining a vital translucent appearance. Net thickness as thin as 0.5 mm.

Veneers w/E.max

These veneers are full contour ips e.max® with a color appropriate selection of ingot material. Characterization color is infused with opal essence stain and then locked in with E.Max glaze. This style is ideal when you want a thin translucent to moderate block-out veneer. Reserve these veneers for your Minimal-Prep cases that require minimal shade change. The net thickness is as thin as 0.5 mm.

Clinical Handling

Cementation - must be bonded in place using a light cure composite resin only. It is critically important to isolate and control all blood or other fluids prior to beginning bonding.

Adjusting & Polishing

  • Delicate adjusting of contacts can be done prior to bonding to facilitate seating.
  • Adjusting or contouring can be done with a fine diamond after bonding.
  • Final polish should be done using a porcelain polishing system of your choice. (Brasseler Dialite)
